Change Orders

Scope changes are accommodated in writing.

Clients may request changes to the project scope. Alpha Le Concrete will make every effort to accommodate these changes when possible. Any modifications affecting materials, labor, or scope may result in revised pricing, which will be communicated to the client in writing.

Delays & Weather

Some things are outside our control.

Alpha Le Concrete shall not be held liable for delays caused by weather, equipment issues, supplier disruptions, or any other causes beyond our control. Clients will be kept informed of revised timelines when necessary.

Concrete Characteristics

Concrete is a natural material.

Concrete is a natural material, and variations may occur. The client acknowledges and accepts the following:

  • Hairline cracking is common due to curing and environmental factors.
  • Color variation may occur between the selected color chart/samples and the final finish due to screen display differences, batch variations, sunlight exposure, and curing conditions.
  • Alpha Le Concrete is not liable for minor cosmetic imperfections or non-structural variations.
Warranty

1-year limited workmanship warranty.

All new concrete installations are covered under a 1-year limited workmanship warranty, effective from the date of project completion. This warranty covers defects resulting from improper installation only. It does not apply to concrete repairs or patchwork, which are not covered under warranty.

Please understand that cracking in concrete is normal and expected. While we do everything in our power to reduce cracking, some cracks can still occur, especially hairline cracks or shrinkage cracks caused by curing conditions, weather, and ground movement.

What’s covered

Cracks will be warrantied if, within the first year, they meet both of the following conditions:

  • The crack is at least 1/4″ wide, and
  • The crack spans 30% or more of the total length of the slab in which it appears.

What’s not covered

This warranty does not cover hairline cracks, surface chipping, discoloration, spalling, scaling, pitting, pop-outs, spider cracking, or minor cosmetic imperfections, as these are common characteristics of concrete and outside of our control.

“At Alpha Le Concrete, we genuinely don’t like cracking either. That’s why we follow industry-best practices to give your concrete the best chance at long-term performance.”

We always:

  • Excavate properly and install a stable, compacted gravel base
  • Use welded wire mesh or rebar for slab reinforcement (as appropriate)
  • Add additional rebar along slab edges or specific areas when needed
  • Install strategically placed control joints to help manage where cracks form

These preventative measures help minimize cracking, but no concrete contractor can guarantee a crack-free slab. Our goal is to build something that lasts, and we stand by our work where it counts.

Access & Property Conditions

Safe access and clear job sites.

Clients are responsible for providing safe and clear access to the job site, including unlocked gates, removal of vehicles or equipment, and relocation of personal items.

If Alpha Le Concrete moves any items for the client, the client waives liability for any unintentional damage. Minor damage to grass, landscape beds, edging, or existing concrete may occur and is not the responsibility of Alpha Le Concrete. However, we always strive to minimize disturbance to surrounding areas.

The client does not need to be present during the project, but is welcome to observe at any time.

Cancellation or Rescheduling

Plans change. Just let us know.

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing [email protected]. We do not charge cancellation fees, but we appreciate early notice to help keep our schedule running smoothly.

Material Availability

Comparable substitutions, when needed.

In the event a chosen material is discontinued or unavailable, Alpha Le Concrete reserves the right to substitute it with a comparable product of equal or higher quality. We will always notify and discuss options with the client in advance.
