Alpha Le Concrete

Our 1-Year Workmanship Warranty

Every new concrete installation we pour is covered by a 1-year limited workmanship warranty, effective from the day your project is completed. If a covered defect shows up because of improper installation, we make it right. This page is the plain-English version; the full legal terms live on our Terms & Conditions page.

What’s covered

Defects resulting from improper installation on new concrete installations, for one year from completion. For cracking specifically, a crack is covered when, within the first year, it meets both of these conditions:

  • It is at least 1/4 inch wide, and
  • It spans 30% or more of the total length of the slab it appears in.

We publish the exact numbers on purpose. You should know precisely where the line is before you hire anyone, and vague promises to “stand behind the work” are not something you can measure.

What’s not covered

Concrete is a natural material that cures and moves with the ground and the weather. Some surface characteristics are normal and outside any contractor’s control, so they are not warranty items: hairline cracks, shrinkage cracks from curing conditions, surface chipping, discoloration, spalling, scaling, pitting, pop-outs, spider cracking, and minor cosmetic imperfections. Concrete repairs and patchwork are also not covered; the warranty applies to new installations.

How we build so you never need this page

We genuinely do not like cracks either. Every pour gets the practices that give concrete its best chance at long-term performance:

  • Proper excavation and a stable, compacted gravel base
  • Welded wire mesh or rebar reinforcement, as appropriate for the slab
  • Additional rebar along slab edges and stress areas when needed
  • Strategically placed control joints that manage where movement happens

No concrete contractor can promise a crack-free slab. What we promise is correct preparation, honest terms, and a company that shows up if something is actually wrong.

Warranty questions

Is some cracking really normal?

Yes. Hairline and shrinkage cracks can occur in any concrete as it cures, especially with weather swings and ground movement. That is why the warranty defines a covered crack by measurable size: at least 1/4 inch wide, spanning 30% or more of the slab’s length, within the first year.

When does the warranty start?

On the date your project is completed. It runs for one year.

Are repairs or patchwork covered?

No. The warranty covers new concrete installations only.

Summary current as of July 2026. The governing text is the warranty section of our Terms & Conditions.
